Any undergrad at Rice is welcome to audition for our program! Auditions are held at the start of every Fall semester. Mock trial is not limited to any specific major or experience level; we currently have a range of majors on our team, including political science, math, philosophy, computer science, economics, and so much more. While we encourage everyone to try out regardless of mock trial experience, please keep in mind the time commitment of being a member. We practice a minimum of 4-5 hours each week and we will be competing in two tournaments in the Fall, including Rice’s very own invitational, Rice Bowl! In the Spring, our teams will be delving into the AMTA competition season, and you will be traveling for 2-3 weekends.
