OUR PROGRAM
We are one program composed of two to three teams every year! In the fall, our program competes in two invitationals, and in the spring, we participate in one more invitational before AMTA regionals. We often bring in lawyers and alumni to coach us and develop our skills. Tournaments are judged by lawyers and judges from around the country.

OUR HISTORY
Rice Mock Trial is Rice University's fully student-run mock trial program. Rice Mock Trial was founded in the Fall of 2017, and has grown to include up to three teams and over twenty members. Despite being one of the youngest teams in the country, Rice Mock Trial is consistently competitive at tournaments, earning bids to the Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) in all but one year of its existence.
In the coming season, Rice Mock Trial is aiming to make its debut appearance in the National Championship and accepting new members while continuing to develop the skills of those who are returning.
